Welcome to AVHC Kids! The newest addition to the AVHC Family!
For children in Grades 2 & 3, the focus of this choir is the JOY of learning and singing together!
For Singers Who:
LOVE TO SING!
LOVE TO HAVE FUN AND MAKE NEW FRIENDS
WANT TO EXPLORE THEIR VOICE
Members of AVHC KIDS will have their first choral experience in a play-based environment with lots of movement and games as they discover what it’s like to sing together as a group. This choir is a fun, low-stress introduction to choral music, where kids will discover their healthy singing voice, develop listening skills, and build strong musical foundations to give them the best start on their musical journey!
AVHC Kids is conducted by Alana MacPhee, with additional support and mentorship provided by our intermediate and senior choir apprentices.
Rehearsals: Thursdays at St James Anglican Church Hall, 18 Prospect Ave. Kentville
Session 1: 4:00 - 5:15
Session 2: 5:45 - 7:00
