Choir Coordinator: Kim Fortune

Kim Fortune came to the AVHC after a move to the Annapolis Valley from Ontario, where she has lived most of her life and worked for two decades supporting the families of ill, injured and deceased Canadian Armed Forces members and Veterans. While Kim would describe herself as more of a "shower singer", she was drawn to the AVHC because she shares the same values as the choir, believing in a strong community, that youth are resilient and that every young person deserves to have a place where they feel like they belong. Kim's family came along for the ride and they all enjoy exploring the beautiful beaches NS has to offer, hiking with their dog, and travelling.
