AVHC Chorister Apprenticeship Program

The AVHC Chorister Apprenticeship Program provides mentored leadership and collaborative experience to selected members of our choristers.  The aim of the program is for the apprentices to become an integral part of the artistic and caregiving team and serve as positive role models for the choristers of AVHC.

The program was developed due to a need for more leadership opportunities and experience for students in the context of music education.  Along with leadership, the program provides teaching and mentoring opportunities. These singers show an interest in both the pedagogical and performance aspects of our program.  They act with generosity of spirit, are dedicated, highly empathetic individuals who display initiative and make building community a priority.

Apprentices receive a scholarship toward their AVHC tuition for the year.
